Photography | 2024
This series of photographies was made in Turin, Italy, in fall of 2024, when the city was adorned with neon signs telling the story “Luì e l’arte di andare nel bosco” by Guido Quarzo. Inspired by these signs, I created this series wanting to find a balance between photography and written words. My intentions were to be able to tell a visual story of transition between night and day, first showing the glowing words on a dark background, and then the dark words on a light background. The series ends with the actual ending of the story; a sign spelling out the words “E così fu” (And so it was).
